Mr dj, what's your definition of 'advanced music'? I think to say SA music was more advanced than Zim music is a misguiding statement. It's what other radio djs chose to promote really.

Yes you do have a good point my friend. In essence it was referring to their superiority of market within Southern Africa with the music genres and more international appeal (even up to now) compared to Zimbabwean music. e.g how SA music had managed to cross more boundaries like Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia before any of the countries mentioned were able to do the same. No pun intended.

Thanx for noting that though!

With similar interests in DJing, music and art between the founding members the formation of XBC was inevitable. Hosted by Gweru's own Usual Suspect, MayJ based in Brisbane, QLD and DJ Chyll a.k.a The Bishop representing XBC Randani, Bhuriten respectively. XBC Jumpoff took off in 2007 as an initiative to give listeners an enjoyable show filled with lots of music and information to serve as a bridge between artists and fans alike bringing us all closer together. With plenty of innovative ideas XBC has grown as time has unfolded and ultimately become one of the Zimbabwean/African shows that showcases some of the most amazing talent Zimbabwe and the Motherland has to offer. We are the owners of the XBC Clothing Range and provide marketing services for artists with a Record Label, XBC Records added to that list. The journey has been long and hard but we are getting there.
